Btw, the first raw improvisation definitely sounds the best. I wish music generally sounded just like that. just add on some percussion or drums with the sound of your room and add a vocal and- Oooooh: make the bass and guitar tracks available for download and let us have a go at it!

This reminds me of a video with a couple disney animators drawing a tree. Everyone had a different style, and none of it was wrong. Good to remember that. And the time-lapse working together reminded me of what I imagine Patti Smith and Robert Mapplethorpe working together back in the 60s looked like -- side by side, enveloped in their own projects, but still kind of leaning on each other. I guess that goes along with the animation thing, too: each animator has their own style, but then they pool their collective expertise into creating a cohesive experience (one complete movie). Idk how this relates to the video anymore, but as always, I appreciate how you get me thinking, even if it isn't always music related.

It's funny but not surprising that you two seemed to highlight your respective instruments in your mixes! Your track, Adam, had that very rigid electronic percussion that complimented and seemed to build out of that initial riff. Plus I think I hear some keyboard supporting the bass line? Reminds me of Sungazer's Level One in that respect. Meanwhile Ben's production really pushed and transformed that guitar tone into something very unique, using the bass as a way to lock down the direction of the melody beneath all of that screaming fuzz. Super cool idea for a small project. I wouldn't mind seeing more like this in the future!
