My son got bullied so bad last year in fourth grade these group of kids were going around the school calling him “gay” and saying they “saw him kissing boys in the bathroom” and they would “whisper” whenever he came near them loudly so he could hear to other kids about him being “gay” and “liking boys” and when he would try to sit next to anyone they would say “ew I don’t want to sit next to you! You like boys!” the last thing on his mind is kissing anyone right now 😂 he just wants to be a kid but he is very sensitive and sweet and the boy loves to dance. And they were being so cruel to him. He started associating being gay as not being acceptable to other people and being a bad thing. He came home from school one day saying “no one at my school cares if I live or die.” 😢 it was breaking my heart. I was so upset for him my 10 year old shouldn’t even be saying something like that! We had to switch him out of schools because the school and principal literally did NOTHING to give those kids any sort of consequences and when the administrators did an “investigation “ they said that they don’t consider it bullying 😡 I told them don’t be surprised when one day my kid turns around and decks them All in the face and y’all did nothing 🤷‍♀️ and I sat him down and told him that he can be whoever he wants to be and enjoy whatever he wants to enjoy and if anyone wants to call him “gay” instead of looking at it like an insult tell them “oh thank you gay men have such amazing style and they’re so nice so thank you for the compliment!” And me and his dad had a big talk with him and his Godfather my best friend in the entire world is gay came and talked to him as well. His godfathers advice was to pop them all in the mouth if they wanna mouth off 😂😂😂 no matter who he turns out to be or what sexual orientation he might be he is my son and he is such an amazing boy and I will not tolerate him being bullied and tolerate a school that puts up with it!
