SEEK Is The VILLAIN Of DOORS - Doors Floor 2 Theory
Gameplay: xN1ckname

All assets used in this video are from the game Roblox Doors. The music, gameplay, and pictures I put on screen are under fair-use as stated by the developers and copyright owners of the game Doors.

We've encountered Seek six times throughout our journey in DOORS, but have we truly understood what he's capable of? In this video, we’re going to unravel the deeper mysteries behind this sinister entity. From the very first chase scenes where Seek aggressively pursues us, to his surprising takeover of Queen Grumble in Floor 2, there’s been a subtle but growing revelation about Seek’s powers—and possibly his true role as the real villain of the game.

How SEEK Is The VILLAIN Of Doors (Floor 2 Theory), We'll start by analyzing Seek's ability to corrupt and manipulate the environment around him using his signature black goo. This dark substance isn’t just for show—it seems to alter other entities, like turning innocent Giggles into the terrifying Screeches. But why does Seek go after these entities, and why do the developers drop hints that Seek may be more dangerous than we originally thought? We’ll explore how Screeches and Giggles show signs of Seek’s corruptive influence, with him altering their vocal cords, appearance, and behavior, making them more effective in hunting us down.

But the bigger question is: Why is Seek chasing us so relentlessly? Why does he seem to have a particular obsession with corrupting the player? To answer this, we’ll dive into the lore behind the Architects—the mysterious guiding forces of the game. We've all seen Guiding Light leading us to safety, illuminating our path with blue sparkles, but there’s more going on here. We’ll look at Seek’s red aura that only shows up in PC and console versions of the game, and how this might connect to the Red Architect, the unseen third force working against us and Guiding Light. Could it be that Seek’s pursuit of us is being orchestrated by this Red Architect, who is actively trying to corrupt and possess us to escape the confines of the game world?

We’ll also explore how Seek seems to have limitations despite his immense power. While he can corrupt entities like Queen Grumble and Screeches, he’s not invincible—Guiding Light can hold him back, and yet, it can’t destroy him. Is Seek vulnerable, or is he simply biding his time for something greater? What role does Curious Light play in all this, balancing between helping us and assisting other entities like The Figure?

As we break down the significance of the Architects, we’ll speculate on how these unseen forces influence the game’s events and why they’ve chosen specific characters like Seek and us, the player. We’ll also connect these ideas to the future of the game, including the possibility of a "Queen Scream" and other corrupted entities emerging in upcoming floors. Could the snake from the Seek boss fight in Floor 2 be an entity we’ll encounter in future levels? What other horrors does Seek have in store for us as he continues to grow more powerful?

Join us as we dive deep into the lore, speculate on the upcoming floors, and attempt to piece together the grander narrative of DOORS. From the true intentions of Seek, to the growing complexity of his corruption, to the ultimate escape from the hotel, this video will cover it all. Are you ready to face the truth about Seek—and the Architects that guide us? Let’s find out together. Make sure to like, subscribe, and comment your thoughts and theories below as we prepare for what’s next in the world of DOORS!

fun fact: the 3rd light has been confirmed to be the modifier icon, because other than all the other reasons, the colors of the lights (made by lsplash) are called "spiritual blue" (guiding light) "spiritual yellow" (curious light) and he also made "spiritual red" (possibly mischievous light)

This gives me another theory: in floor 10, we will see the red architect in its final form finally absorbing all of seeks power and being the final boss of doors at door 1000.

1:15 adult giggles (grumbles) have more than four tentacles, so screech is just an adolescent giggle taken over.

I think curious light is inside of figure, red light is inside of seek, and guiding light is inside of us, because they want to escape. In undertale, you need another soul to escape the barrier, and all three of the lights are trying to escape via the help of a soul.

this is a great theory! probably the best one i’ve seen yet. and some minor details you didn’t mention: in the painting of the 3 architects, curious light’s icon is the biggest. which may hint at the fact that he will become a much bigger character later on. in the same painting, if you get 150% on modifiers, the crescent moon (guiding light) disappears from the painting. which means the red light is really powerful, and to further confirm that, the april fools achievements have red color, and it may just be a design choice, but no other achievement is fully red. (btw, i know lsplash said the april fools versions aren’t canon, but he didn’t say anything about their achievements) and the april fools versions are just *modifications* of the hotel, which means this red light can very easily out-power guiding light. and this is also confirmed when guiding light shuts any door, right when the moon is fading out, it will turn red for a split second. so with all these confirmations, we can safely assume the red light is the most powerful out of all, and can easily kill the player if he wanted to. so this makes me think the red light has a different goal, maybe instead of out-right killing the player, it’s something else. we have too little info to think about that now though. i cannot wait for more lore on this red light.
please correct me if i’ve missed anything, or something is wrong. this took me so long to type.

guiding light only helps us because we helped him escape rooms

fun fact: if u die to seek in a chase while someone is spectating you they can see your body covered in seek's black goo and that confirms that he has the power to rule everything as long as he makes contact with the creature that is why in my opinion the reason as why the red light chose seek

Theory: Curious light needed help in rooms. He was guiding us to the a-0000 door. He wanted to get out of the rooms and needed our help. The reason he couldnt help us much was because he didnt know everything about the entities. After we escaped, he gave us a reward. The barrel of starlight. As a thanks. Maybe he was the helper of another place. And was curious to see other places. Hes not helping us. We are helping him. After the rooms, he stayed at the backdoors as his new place. Maybe the reason he also couldnt help us in the back doors was because. He was new to the backdoors! You notice how he helps more and more after each death? He is learning! He is learning from our and also guiding light! Thats why he is so curious! But hey, its just a theory.

A GAME THEORY!!!

Maybe guiding light is also providing assistance so he can escape. I heard a theory that the king of the castle created the architects, but when he went into limbo, the architects could do their own thing. Guiding light is either choosing to help us, because that’s what he was made to do, or he helps us to get the king out of limbo.

Ultimately, I think that the only reason seek is the main antagonist of doors floor 2 is because he’s angry that you escaped from him TWICE. I do like this video though

Guiding light = Original, Helps us, Cares for us, Knows every entity in the hotel + mines.
Curious light = Doesn’t take any sides, and doesn’t care much, also doesn’t know lots about the entities in backdoors.
Mischievous light = Against us, Helps seek corrupt us, Wants to escape this limbo

Although i feel guiding light might betray us.

Accurate theory! For an addition, I think Pressure could have been made as a teaser for floor 3 or to give LSPLASH and his developers suggestions for his next floor.

I think that curious light maybe doesn't want seek becoming too powerfull and helps figure so he doesn't get corupted by seek

The third light is known as mischievous light. He is seen in the modifiers tab, and creates the modifiers, meaning he has complete control over entities, because he can change their very functions. Mischievous light is proven to be the most powerful and evil/power hungry

FUN FACT: When You watch the Modifier Trailer, when mischievious light icon appears at the screen, its the same tune and melody of the other lights when u die.

Also Theres a vine thingy that might foreshadow future events btw

I wonder like somewhere between floor 7 or 8 guiding light encourages us the befriend curious light to put an end to mischievious light. And in floor 9 if we didnt specifically did the side quest to get curious light in our side we may get a different outcome aka a Bad Ending

My theory: the queen grumble and seek have fought before? At the end we see the queen grumble with a scar and seek reaches for the scar, why? they fought before and she won giving it queen status? Then seek had a plan, to corrupt the giggles turning them to screeches, corrupting the grumbles, making screams, (unseen entity) slowly killing the colony
