I don‘t write the same thing multiple times in chat. I just write it once, realize the vtuber is not reading/ seeing it and then go crying in a corner.

This is good advice for livestream chats in general, not just for VTubers

Most I've done is go into a random Vtubers chat and ask them to pick my starter

Then just played silently and listened to the stream

I find that if you were having a bad day and went to a stream to relax, it's nice to just say it like that. "I was having a really rough day but this made me smile" is a really nice sentiment that doesn't invite anyone to wallow in the specifics of your misery, instead, it uplifts the mood for the streamer and viewers.
