Its Adoption Day!! *Finalization*

If some of you are confused on the title.. this below explains a little better.
December 4th will forever be one of the best days of our lives!!

"An adoption is finalized when all of the necessary post-placement requirements have been met. When people ask, “When does the adoption become final for the adopting parents?” In most adoptions, the final adoption hearing occurs around six months after placement, although some hearings can happen as little as three months or up to a year after placement."

"Traditionally, adoption finalization occurs in a courtroom, although more and more judges are offering final adoption hearings over video-call or phone call. Your adoption specialist and adoption attorney will work together to schedule this hearing and ensure you are prepared for any questions that may be asked during this process"

Watching your adoption scam video in the summer at 8 months pregnant broke me. Now I’m watching your adoption confirmation video as I nurse my 2 month old. Where did the time go? Congratulations Dallas and Bella. Story was always meant to be yours 💖

As an adoptive mom to 3 girls and 1 boy, I cried watching the adoption. There is no better feeling than when the judge declares that we are that child’s forever family. People always tell us how lucky we are, not realizing that we are the lucky ones, the blessed ones. Congratulations on finalizing the adoption! ❤️

Congratulations! This video brought back such great memories and happy tears of our adoption finalization 11 years ago. The words “as if she were born to both of you” were also my favorite words from our hearing. What a blessing adoption is!

As an adopted person, adopted at 6weeks old, i can tell you it was the biggest blessing of my life. You guys are a beautiful little family, love and hugs to you all. Bella carried her baby in her heart in oppsose to under her heart.

Two of our children came to us through adoption. I remember those days so vividly. They are now 35 and 26. I also have a daughter that was born to us she is 23. Yes after many rounds of infertility treatments. I became pregnant at 40 and had her at 41. I would never change a thing about those wonderful experiences. Bella you might have said it best. Our children healed our hearts. Adoption finalization allows one to exhale.❤

I adopted my daughter who i talked her 16 year old birth mother out of aborting. I am infertal. I couldn't have children like 7% of all other couples. I adopted my half black half white daughter and I know what it feels like to finally be a mother. My daughter, like both her 16 year old birth mother and 15 year old birth father went to college and became math teachers. My daughter is so amazing, she is so resealable. So amazing. Such an amazing person. I am so blessed by God for her. I am so happy for you . I forgot our court hearing until I seen this.

As an adopted person, I love this video. So wholesome and amazing! My gotcha day is Feb 5, also in the wintertime like Story. I hope she has a great life and gets to know about how special she is like I have gotten to learn about myself over the years.
