I knew that. And I also knew that there is a weird thing about the spot frequency on their heads are associated with deafness in individuals in that they are pretty regularly inductive of whether the dog will be deaf. It's a weird and possibly coincidental quirk

Actaully, some of them are born with spots. And patches. It’s not very common for them to come out all white. Normally they have about 5 - 15 spots when they are born. I have 3 short hair Dalmatians, and one of them was only 2 weeks old when we got him, he did have a lot of spots at that time, as he wasn’t JUST born,

Yeah, and the spots are on the skin also, not just on fur. And they are not ‘stupid’ but they are slightly autistic - being genius in one moment and completely out in another and very stubborn.

Is it possible to train any dog breed to be a lazy sweet couch potato? I’ve seen a couple of your shorts about s lot of different breeds and you mention traits commonly found in working breeds being high energy and a wanting for constant engagement with their owners. I was wondering if, with enough time, could you “train” even the most energetic serious working dogs to basically be a sweet Labrador-type thats happy with belly rubs, occasional fetch/walkies, and will patiently wait for leftovers at dinner time.
