SINGLE LEVEL LIVING IN LUXURY
The innovative design of the Moody 45 Deck Saloon is, quite simply, ahead of its time. If you want to cut loose and cruise the oceans, the 45 offers you a whole new lifestyle. The single level living on the DS is perfect for cruising. You can enjoy panoramic views and choose to be protected from the elements as much or as little as you like. The decks are clear and uncluttered and you get great visibility from the inside and outside helm positions.
EXTENDED CRUISING IN COMFORT
The Moody 45 Deck Saloon is a natural sailor. Her long waterline length and quality sail plan means she will easily cruise at 8 knots.
The twin rudders give plenty of bite and the Jefa rack and pinion steering system gives you great feel at the helm. The raised steering position offers great views over the cabin top when you’re standing or through and around the cabin when you’re seated.

CLEAN LINES
On deck you’ll notice clean lines and minimal clutter. The anchor locker houses a clever fulcrum flip-over system so you can easily position the anchor when you need it. If you walk forward under sail you’ll feel safe and comfortable. There are high bulwarks on one side of you and continuous handholds on the cabin. You can choose the standard hoist and lazyjack system for the main or in-mast furling by Selden.
ELECTRIC WINCHES AND STUNNING TEAK DECKS ARE STANDARD.
The cockpit ‘sun-roof’ slides back easily allowing you to easily switch between full sun and shade.
The cockpit lockers are cavernous and can even accommodate a washer/dryer, and the stern garage takes a 2.4m rigid inflatable dinghy.
SUPERYACHT INTERIOR
Birgit Schnasse and Design Unlimited are responsible for the interior design of many of the world’s superyachts and they’ve designed a superyacht interior for the Moody 45 Deck Saloon.
THE COCKPIT IS LUXURIOUS AND LIGHT.
The large double-leaf table allows you to seat six in comfort.The navigation desk at the front of the saloon doubles as an inside steering position. It gives you great all-round vision and protection from the elements.
The galley comes with molded Corian work-tops, a three burner gimbaled stove and top and bottom loading fridge. Great Moody details like a pop-up TV keep the interior clear and minimalistic. The fabulous all round vision on the Deck Saloon means you can always see a horizon. This is the perfect antidote to seasickness.
OWNER’S SUITE
The feeling when you walk into the master suite of the Moody 45 Deck Saloon is one of light and space. Opening side and roof hatches allow sunlight to pour in and offer great cross ventilation at anchor or in the marina. A large island double bed is illuminated from above by a full length skylight – you can check the sail trim from your bed!
The huge ensuite bathroom with moulded Corian worktops and porcelain sink is a really well thought out space with lots of storage and a large separate shower room. In the bedroom and bathroom you can choose the Cherrywood or the darker Mahogany.
SUITE LAYOUT OPTIONS
The standard layout is the most popular with our Moody 45 Deck Saloon owners. The A1 option gives you the largest master suite, with huge ensuite bathroom with separate shower and extensive wardrobe space.
If you prefer, you can opt for a large separate shower room for the second bathroom. Some owners choose the double bed option in the starboard cabin as opposed to the twin bunks.
And for extensive cruising you might decide on extra storage on the port side. As always with Moody yachts, the great choice of layouts allows you to design a yacht that’s uniquely yours.
