There are many different makes and models of smart meter in-home displays. Although they all have the same basic functions, such as showing you your energy use in pounds and pence as well as kilowatt hours, there are some things that can differ from one make to the other.

Also, an accessible in-home display (AIHD) has been developed in partnership with the Royal National Institute for the Blind (RNIB) and includes features such as large buttons and text-to-speech functionality. So, if you are blind, partially sighted, have difficulties with dexterity or memory loss, an AIHD with additional features could make tracking your energy usage easier.
