I came to the Lord through reading the Living Bible 50 years ago. Apparently some people are saying that it is not a good version of the Bible. it told me what i needed to know to get saved. I now own several bibles, all different versions.
If you dont like that version that David is reading, dont listen to it. At one stage i was attending a legalistic church that investigated every area of Christian life to see if what we were doing or believing was EXACTLY RIGHT.
I left that church eventually because i almost lost hope because there were do many does or don'ts.
I find this very encouraging and soothing to listen to in the evening.
