Ladies, remember, the goal isn't to fight and beat down your attacker. You only want to stun them, and RUN. Go for the eyes, the throat, a knee, the "jewels". Be LOUD. And above all, do NOT let them take you to a second location. If he/she threatens to shoot, and you're in public, fight back! You may or may not be taken down in a parking lot or whatever, but you DEFINITELY won't make it out alive if they take you somewhere else. Be vigilant. Pay attention to your surroundings always. Take those earbuds out and don't keep your face buried in a phone. Don't be afraid to look people dead in the eyes, that way, they know you see them.
