Turnigy Accucel 6 Battery Charger Tests

After purchasing this battery charger, I also purchased a battery buzzer alarm for my quadcopter. After pulling the fully charged battery off of the charger, I plugged it into my battery buzzer alarm (which displays voltage) and saw that it did not give me the same reading as the battery charger did. These are my findings using 3 different measuring tools - the charger, the battery alarm, and a voltmeter. These are all hobbyking products, with the exception of the battery buzzer alarm. The link to the excel file is here:

After recording this, I suppose a follow-up video would be to compare both chargers individually(I used 1 charger for each battery - voiding the scientific method). Also, I will be playing with the calibration, carefully, to see how it affects the charge. If anyone knows anything regarding hobbyking/turnigy changing the firmware on the charger to either allow or disallow calibration, let me know in the comments.

My charger (same model) was slightly off calibration; I used an accurate voltmeter to adjust: plug in a cell, power on charger holding down "-" and "Start" keys for several seconds, and you will get a calibration screen that shows voltage and has an adjust/save option. Mine was off by about 0.15v

Hi
If you want to measure each cell separately you have to move your negative probe alongside the positive one. Let me explain on your zippy battery pack so on balance lead black and white wires is cell 1, white and yellow wires is cell 2 and finally yellow and red is cell 3 so with your multimeter start with negative on black wire positive on white that's your Cell 1, then put your multimeter negative on white and positive on yellow that's Cell 2 and finally negative on yellow and positive on red and that will give you the reading of the final Cell 3. Hope that I helped a bit. And don't ask me why it's like that cause I have no idea ;)

I just got the same charger & the first thing I did was to check it's output with my meter which is an expensive Fluke meter & has recently had it's calibration checked because I have to be exact with being a diagnostic electronics engineer & I found it to be exactly 4.198 at the battery on every cell of a brand new Turnigy battery after it's first charge, so it's as close to 4.2 as I want it to be. The 2 alarms I have like yours don't show the correct exact voltage per cell at all though.

Hi.
Does the fan stop shortly after you start charging on the charger with black letters ?
Mine does and I can't tell if it's a bug or a featue.

Attempted a 5A charge on a 4s Turnigy 5000Mah. The power supply died that plugs into the wall.
