Geddy said in an interview that this was one of the hardest songs to sing and play at the same time that they've ever written. I believe it, the parts aren't even remotely syncopated. Impressive as always.

"A missing part of me that grows around me like a cage". RIP Neil! There will never be a lyricist like you!

Goodbye Neil, thank you for your inspiring music that helped me to have a better life. Such a sad day

I still can't believe they were putting out amazing songs like this after all the years! Clockwork Angels is a totally underrated album!

It's not particularly obvious, but Geddy singing the chorus and playing that particular bass line at the same time is just crazy. The two parts are so different melodically and rhythmically that you have to be a God-level multitasker to pull it off.

This is RUSH at its finest. 2112, Caress of steel, song is epic. So glad I saw them 4 times on this tour.

Think I'm gonna miss Neil forever.

I actually tattooed the symbol for this song, but the tour sadly never came to Brazil.

Still gets me every time, tough

I never wanted to belong. I was so strong"

My favourite song from Clockwork Angels. The lyrics are edgy, drums are thundering, I like the switch in vocal tone in the bridge to the chorus, and this is Alex's best solo in years.

Actually the whole album rocks a really cool steampunk theme with excellent songs. Way to go out on top!

The professor was true to the end. God love Neil Peart, Alex Lifeson and Geddy Lee. Unbelievable musicians who met and became one of the best sounds in progressive rock.3 of the best getting together to make the best progressive rock for at least 40 years. Outstanding musicians that grew up within 10 miles of each other. Hope it happens again before my journey to meet Neil.

This sounds fantastic. I wish Geddys bass came through more though.

God, the memories. The emotions this song brings upon me. I was 23.

A monster of a song! Just as good as any of their older stuff.

To think, they ended on this, their strongest note. Not many rock bands can still write with such energy and kiss such ass at the age they were at, especially after 40+ years. There will never be another band like Rush.

There are loads whom take the piss out of the near- worship of these fellas but you cannot argue their belief in what they do, their work ethic, their virtuosity, and the last album - of which how many bands of their longevity can create which doesn’t sound stuck in time or hopelessly apeing current sounds ? “ 😇🏴love from wessexshire

Neil at his best as a song writer and a drummer. Take time to read the lyrics. Very powerful, thoughtful message. There will never be another like Neil Peart.

Amazing way to end a career! Clockwork Angels is brilliant!! The songs are very good. On another note....the two books about the album are very good reads.

The drums come out more in this remaster. The one thing i didn’t enjoy about the original master/mix of Clockwork Angels tour cd was that Alex and geddy sound like they are in my living room and Neil is in my backyard.
