Audi S8 v Audi RS6 - DRAG RACE

It's time for an almighty Audi showdown! We've brought together the most expensive Audi saloon, the S8, to take on the most expensive Audi estate, the RS6!

These two powerhouses are going head-to-head over the quarter-mile, and we think it's going to be incredibly close! Under the skin there are a number of similarities... They're both powered by a 4-litre twin-turbo V8, they both produce 800Nm of torque, and they both come with Quattro all-wheel-drive!

However, there's one key difference... While the the S8 produces 571hp, the RS6 manages to put down 600hp!

So what do you think, surely the RS6 will edge it, right? Or could the ultra-luxurious (and slightly more expensive) saloon snatch it? There's only one way to find out... LET'S RACE!

The S8 all the way. I drove AMG models for years, but I got tired of the rough ride and extra noise after the initial excitement wore off. So now my daily driver is a 2017 W222 S-Class (still have an SL AMG for weekends) and a big, quieter car is so much more relaxing. Same could apply to S8/RS6 I would expect.

Mat use a Light. Human hand movement is rediculous. Red, yellow and green 🚦 this would be a great test of reaction timing and better off the line movement. Let's go 🚗 😁

The old S8 performance had 605hp, weighed less than both of these and can be had for 40k. Thats the right choice for me

S8 is just amazing, understated ready to rock. It is also one of the simplest to work on platforms, lots of room. This car gets 30 MPG!!

I'll still take the RS6 all day, everyday and twice on Sunday! The S8 is expected to haul a$$. I have a closet passion for sleeper wagons. I also love the Saab 95 Aero.

Seems like weight distribution is much better on the S8, which in turn gave it better traction off the line.
