How Spider-Man: Far From Home Should've Started | Original Animation

Spider-Man: Far From Home is a film that I felt was missing an important moment, the moment where Aunt May finds out Peter Parker is Spider-Man. Since it's pretty much a missing plot point in the second film, I animated an original opening to the film, where Peter and May have an emotional talk. Hope you enjoy!

Whoever voiced Peter did a fantastic job of sounding like Tom Holland

Actually got goosebumps at when Peter said, "I have a responsibility."
Whoever did the voice acting, props to you. Especially the break in his voice was fantastic.

The “I have a responsibility” line hits so freaking hard it was on the verge of making me cry 🥺

This has to be the biggest missed opportunity that the MCU has made.

The “I’ll always come back” line hits hard knowing he’ll die a year later, even if it wasn’t permanent

*It doesn’t matter if this is fan-made, this scene is canon and happened off-screen*

Dang, that “I’ll Always come back” then five years later hits different. It also reminded me of Spider-Man from into the spiderverse that said “I always get back up” then dies

This was awesome, Mauricio. Amazing performances, writing and animation all around.

I’m gonna go cry now.

this is the conversation that makes spider man .... Spider man isn’t a destiny, it isn’t something that *chose* a person, it was a random kid who was bitten by a radioactive spider who had a purpose to help others ... spider man can be anyone ... you don’t have to have powers to help another or make a change ... spider man is just a human ... who was given the strength to help the ones in need or the ones who couldn’t help themselves .... spider man is a hero

This was desperately missing from Far From Home. You’re telling me that she finds out her teenage nephew is Spider-Man, the very next thing that happens is he hops on a spaceship to another planet and dies, and then after he comes back to life five years later (seemingly with no explanation as far as she knows), she’s not only cool with him Spider-Manning, but he’s going to another continent? I’m shocked that she’d let him out of her sight ever again.

This is canon to me. Even Stan would be proud.

The actual movie: May throws a banana at Peter and dates his boss

Wow, this version of Aunt May is a completely different character than the one in the MCU.

This one is way better.

Imagine if Avengers Endgame started off like this, then we had the five years later jump and saw May depressed or something (provided she actually survived the snap instead).

That would really improve her character, the dynamic between Peter and May and make Spideys goodbye so much more impactful here.

No, you change that title, this is a DELETED SCENE. It is canon and you can't change my mind!

“That’s what I told Ben”
Jesus man that line is so powerful and so perfect

THIS is what we freaking deserved in the MCU. Not making every damn thing a joke.

Honestly, this has more emotion than I have ever seen in any of the MCU Spider-Man film
