My back is still wrecked from hang in heavy, aluminum spurs.. Stay after these manufacturers, youngsters.. this truly appears innovative..

did notch fix the angle of the spur, that was a problem for the geckos, that caused the constant gaffing out?

As someone who tries to pay attention to what makes a good climbing spur, these look very interesting, especially with the super progressive leg iron angles.. Unfortunately, what keeps me from trying any Climber with the Notch name on it is the repeated use of the original Gecko Gaff angles. I believe if you polled most people & asked them if they prefer a gaff profile thats tighter to the foot (like Bashlins / Hybrid Bucks) or hanging way out there (like the Gecko's / Talons) most would prefer the Bashlin/Buck style.
With all the time put into designing these things, why not come out with a better gaff profile?

Is the plastic brittle or breakable if a branch hits it? Does sawdust or wear and tear render the velcro unusable after a while?

Vines small twigs will grab those tabs hopefully there not plastic but even if they are not they will be grabbed.

Velcro looses its grip from day 1. Saw dust, sap, rain. I prefer a more durable strap

The best setup ive found is aluminum climb right with the opal pads every thing else is to bulky and at weird angles like your ment to have crooked shins and i have spent thousands of hours in my spur's in the last 12 years and ill never change and my setup is way cheaper 😂😂

If your marketing a product call it by it’s proper name it’s a gaff your not a cowboy your not riding a horse, the gaff angle iscalled the offset, show us again how you run your bare hand across a gaff From a marketing stand point your just not convincing
And there for I am out
