Rev. Osagyefo Sekou, “Ferguson, Faith and the Future of Democracy”, keynote talk given at Fellowship of Reconciliation of Oregon and Washington' annual conference at Seabeck, July 4th 2015.

Rev. Osagyefo Sekou has been working on the ground in St Louis since mid August on behalf of the Fellowship of Reconciliation. He will reflect on his time on the front lines of the Ferguson rebellion, the radical remaking of many aspects of traditional activism and the birth of a new civil rights movement. He will discuss the prophetic role of religion in revolutionary struggle and the responsibility of people of faith to move beyond allyship to become freedom fighters working to rebuild a more just America.

beware. sekou is a bit of a greedy guy with aspirations to be the next jim jones/father divine. who will he sell out? who wont he? he is indeed a bit slippery. slippery sekou.
