can i use this for my thin nails? or is it only to fix broken nails? can it make the nails stronger and thiker too?

I have this, and use it when I have a little tear in a nail; but can I also use this when my nail is very thin, or kind of reinforce it to keep it from peeling/tearing from fragility?
