I have the 2021 Roscoe 7, fantastic bike, rolls over roots and rocks like a champ and it still gives that hardtail pop despite the heavier wheels.

Great entry bike if you can commit to the payment

Just got the 2022 Roscoe and holy smokes!!! This thing is wicked! As long as tire pressure is below 30 psi when taking turns and running over roots, you’ll do just fine! This bike is efffin awesome and it’ll get you addicted quickly to this sport! I went from a Trek 2020 Dual Sport to the Roscoe to try and do new things and I don’t regret it. Also, I highly recommend the roscoe over the marlin if you can over paying a bit more.

I’ve had the 2021 Roscoe 7 for 3 weeks now and the rear hub is already grinding and the engagement is woeful other than that it’s a great bike, I saw a lot of complaints online before I bought it but thought I’d give it a go anyway and judge for myself. It’s not good, but it’s not the worst and will last until I change it for something better.
Hopefully the 2022 will address this issue.

Come on Trek, I ride a 200mm dropper on a 500mm seat tube, 150mm is comical these days. It should be 170/180mm minimum for an XL frame.
