I have a simple fixed blade Karambit and I love it, although I don’t think of it as a weapon. It is one of my favorite farm and foraging tools. It’s excellent for harvesting veggies, especially mushrooms. I especially like how I can keep the karambit ring around my pinky and let it drop from my grip, but stay in my hand while I do something fiddly with my fingers. I also like it for butchering and skinning. It’s my main tool when I slaughter chickens. I sharpened the convex side of my blade and it makes it excellent for fleshing hides. I never understood the reverse grip everyone uses, but I guess that’s fighting again. The Karambit was originally a farm tool, and it excels at that.

I know this is 2 years ago, but you can just unscrew the clip from the sheath and adjust it to your liking

Great video, agreed deadly piece of equipment. I've always liked karambits but never got one for myself, I've bought them for gifts before, now I have two lol. I picked up one like this from a different manufacturer, everything is identical except my handle scales are olive green. It fits my left hand perfectly, my right hand though it's tight with the ring, I can fix that though. I used to carry a cold steel Ti-lite 4 as my EDC up till two days ago, now I carry my absolute favorite knife ever, the CRKT's version of the Joe Caswell folding karambit Provoke in D2 steel with Veff serrations. The Provoke is wicked fast deployment with the kick of the thumb or catching the pocket pulling it out, I bought my son the provoke zap in lime green grivory handles.

I have the dispatch Karambit and its a great Karambit but my favorite Karambit is: The Tops Devil Claw 2 . If u don't have the Tops Devils Claw 2 I highly recommend u purchase one or at least go to a knife store and put it in your hand I got a feeling u will love the feel of it. I know this is a two year old video, but if you unscrew it where attaches to the belt, you can make it right-handed. That's what the holes in the kydex are for.

Bro out of all the knives I get nervous about are karambits. I want to get Cold Steels Tiger Claw folder and they make a fixed version. I want to get those but not my first choice as a knife to get.

Now that looks like something I would have confidence with in some REALLY fucked up situation, don't know how would use it..probably would just go boxing like Tyson and if I miss blade will get them

Malisong, Ccanku and Gtkii have identical blades in D2 for around $16 each on Amazon. Probably all come from the same factory
