EWS-E Round 3 Highlights | Valberg 2022

We're in Valberg, France for the first-ever standalone round of the Enduro World Series E! With no EWS racing to work around this weekend E-bike racing can truly shine through as the premier race, with an incredible course over Valbergs varied terrain on the menu. We've got some of the stars from the Pro fields hanging out in Europe for a little longer to try their hand at E-MTB racing too. Will they be able to mix things up, or will it be business as usual for the racers at the head of the pack? Let's find out!

As someone who covered ebike racing and tests ebikes, I have to say im not convinced that ebike racing has the regualtions that make it fair yet. Rider weight is the key element that dictates range, which dictates which power mode you can use, which means basically if you are light you can use turbo, if you are heavy.... well you need a heavier battery for the same range, also any uphill sections the lighter riders will be quicker. So how to square that circle?

@EMBN: Are there any regulations other than the 25kph or why arent more riders competing? I feel like if i train a bit more over the wintertime my riding skills are good enough to compete at such events.
Is there starting fee or the other way round - is there pricemoney for the top riders?
Or do you need a big team behind you which cover all the costs?
