Wagner boss vows to lead Bakhmut fight after Russian defence ministry arms Putin's private Army

Russia's private military company Wagner Group, fighting in Bahmut, say they have been promised more ammunition to continue the fight against Ukrainian troops. Wagner boss Yevgeny Prigozhin declared this on his Telegram channel on Sunday, just 2 days after he threatened to pull out the key Ukrainian city on May 10 unless his team's ammunition shortages are addressed. Now, Prigozhin says he has received "military instruction" to continue the assault against Kyiv's troops. Watch this video for more details.

May 8th, massive attack on Ukraine.

The Russian Defense Ministry is now carrying out a massive strike against military facilities and concentrations of AFU troops.
This missile strike is atypical. The scale is greater than anything we have seen in recent months.
Missiles, bombs, and drones are targeting dozens of AFU positions and facilities in various directions.

The Russian Defense Ministry massively used Geran-2 drones, X-22/32 missiles, and other munitions. At least seven Tu-22M3 strategic missile carriers carried out strikes.
X-101 and Kalibr cruise missiles are launched. Ships of the Russian Black Sea Fleet carried out a group launch of Kalibr cruise missiles.
It is already known about numerous explosions in the Odessa region. It is reported that at least 7 hits on AFU facilities were recorded. There are also reports that a missile strike damaged the bridge in Zatoka, through which the AFU was bringing reserves, fuel and equipment from Romania to Kherson and Mykolaiv.

Ammunition depots near Zatoka, Odessa Oblast, as well as Western equipment arriving in Ukraine, including German Leopards near the local airfield, were likely targets of the strikes.
Also, there are reports of barrage munitions raids from northern Ukraine. Kiev, Chernihiv, Sumy, Odessa, Ugledar, and Bakhmut were hit by missiles and air strikes. Now there are explosions in Kiev.

The Wagner PMC are advancing in Bakhmut.

An overnight report by Ukrainian military analysts said:

" The situation in the western quarters of the city is very difficult"
"The enemy has an advance, so far we can’t stop it"

The Russian Air Force carried out strikes on the accumulations of the AFU in the area of Chasov Yar. Local media outlets are reporting about the start of the use of planning aerial bombs there.
Local publics also report strikes against AFU positions in Zaporizhzhia region and near Slavyansk with planning bombs.
Air alerts have been declared in all southern and central regions of Ukraine.

Well done President Putin, putting Surovikin in charge of coordination with Wagners. They deserved the credit when Bakhmut is captured. As for Yevgeny, although astute as a commander, he should know his place not to air out grieves in public in future! He might just run foul with Putin one day! Anyway, i'm still naming my grandkid Yevgeny in future! LOL
