The way I experienced it... women like challenges. Have you ever seen a woman's dating profile that says "I want a man who challenges me" which means to challenge her emotionally. Emotion = Drama.
And it makes life more difficult. Women unintentionally want their life more difficult. While we men strive for peace and comfort. Polar opposite.

This is one of the many reasons why I went MGTOW (Men Going Their Own Way). I’m so glad I’m not living with a woman under the same roof. Being single is the best decision I ever made in my life. Discussions like this one are skirting around the elephant on earth. When we get the same point of women inclination to drama in time and time again, in articles, books, and YouTube videos, alongside of articles, books, and YouTube videos on narcissists' penchant for drama, can we at least admit that with respect to drama or chaos, women naturally have a higher susceptibility to pathological narcissism, even if there are no definitive statistics, perhaps owing, too, to how their narcissism evolves within their gender and culture?

If your woman seems to become back down in a way that is acceptable to you, even though you've swept everything she has said under the rug, don't fool yourself into believing something you did worked. She is not loving you more because she stops trying. She simply no longer sees you as someone to be in love with, she might just be maintaining her own lifestyle. Being a wife becomes a 'job' that some of us are willing to stay with till retirement, hers or his. A job is job with no need for emotional connection. Women do it all the time. So how do you know what she really feels about you when women can turn off just like men? We all need to get what we need some way from some one. Men who don't want meaningful relationships and work for them, get what they get.
