BMW G310R & BMW G310GS Speedometer features explained with details. BMW has done a good job with the Speedometer layout on the G310R and G310GS. The Speedometer on the G310R and G310R gets the basic Odometer and two trip meters. The Speedometer gets features like digital clock, digital rpm meter and fuel gauge. BMW has gone ahead and provided the G310R and G310GS with average fuel consumption and current fuel consumption read outs. Both BMW G310R and G310GS Speedometer gets engine temperature readings along with estimated range in km. The left and right side of the Speedometer on the BMW G310R and BMW G310GS have indicators and warnings lights which this video explains in details.

the unknown sensor is the gear shift indicator. it turn up when u are at 10000 -11000 rpm and tell u to upshift the gear.

I had the 24hr format before first service in BMW service center. Post that it has been switched to am pm format and even the consumption changed to kmpl instead of ltr/100km. Also the mileage meter is inaccurate. CB300R has perfect accuracy.
