Watch China’s reusable rocket test launch

Watch the first test flight of China’s reusable rocket, the Hyperbola-2, from the private company i-Space or Interstellar Glory. The test reached a height of 178 meters and then followed a successful touchdown. The rocket uses methalox as fuel, which is a combination of liquid methane and oxygen. Methane is more stable, cheaper, easier to handle, and does not build up in the rocket engines. It is also easy to make on Mars, making methalox a popular choice to make reusable rockets. Who will be the next successor of the recent race of reusable rockets after SpaceX? Let’s wait and see.

It's amazing how fast you can build things when you steal the technology from someone else

As an engineering student in India, we built a human size rocket as a college project.. our main purpose was to make it reusable.. (we failed, the dude exploded half way).
