Erin O’Toole on Conservative motion to create anti-corruption committee – October 20, 2020

At a news conference on Parliament Hill, Conservative Leader Erin O’Toole discusses his party’s opposition day motion, which is set to be debated in the House of Commons. The Conservatives are calling for the creation of a special House committee to investigate corruption. The proposed committee would consolidate a number of ongoing parliamentary investigations into the WE Charity controversy.

Committee Name: Instead of "Anti-Corruption Committee", add one word "Anti-Corruption Investigation Committee" Then Liberals won't be able to say the mere existence of the committee is grounds for non-confidence.

Please I'm sick and tired of this back and forth between French and English when these speeches are made. Please as a federal party say your speech in English and then say it in French. I am also sick of the way the translation is done. When I hear the translation in french I don't want to hear the speaker in english can you mute one so I can hear the other and please when a man is speaking don't have a woman translate. We in Quebec demand proper dubing for our movies we should have the same with the political system.
