Houses vs. Townhouses vs. Units - Which is Right for You?

In this video, we'll compare and contrast houses, townhouses, and units across a range of factors to help you make an informed decision.

First off, you gotta think about space and layout. Do you want a big ol' house with plenty of room to stretch out? Or are you more into the idea of a townhouse or unit with a more compact layout?

Another thing to consider is outdoor areas. Do you want a huge backyard for your dogs to run around in? Or are you okay with a small courtyard or balcony? And don't forget about privacy and security. How much of that do you want in your next home? What are the key security features to look for?

And then there's maintenance and upkeep. Houses, townhouses, and units all have different requirements in this department, so you gotta weigh up how much time and money you're willing to invest.

Of course, affordability and location are also big factors. Do you wanna live in the heart of the city or out in the suburbs? How do prices compare across the different housing options?

Whether you're a first-time buyer, downsizer, or investor, this video has something for everyone!

Hi Luke, thanks for the great video. When talking about the unit block, did the bank lend you the money based on what the potential rental income would be and using that to pay off the mortgage? Or did you lend off the equity you and your partner have in your current portfolio? Cheers

I wonder if everyone buys property with "owner occupier appeal", other types may become cheap.
Owner occupier appeal meaning the definition provided by "The Property Couch" guys.
Perhaps units are there now?
