Uber also charges YOU the driver a service fee based supplemented by the customer. The more they were charged, the more YOU pay Uber for using their platform. Just this weekend, 1.5 miles I was charged over $10 for the delivery. Because I got a 14 tip and base pay was 4.83ish. Because I was given a great order, Uber decdes they should be able to steal more of our hard earned money

when you work less hours throughout week. you get bigger paying orders to make up for lost days. took 4 days off. 5th day was crazy busy with high orders . has happened at least three times. you constantly work few hours, so they will throw you a bone .

Who said they make more money? Ubers shady practices are not even close to the same crap DD tries to pull. Diamond just unlocks more outside app perks. I like being diamond cause they gave me free costco which gives me gas thats 50 cents cheaper. And I didnt do anything to get it but take good offers with my 5% AR

I’m a diamond driver and this man is speaking facts. The trick is the hours and location you work. I take $3-$20 rides all day cause they’re short and 1/3 of those rides tip so it’s easily $30/hr. live in Jax Beach. It’s either the beaches for me or St. Augustine on the weekends. $250-300 a day on weekend (excluding promotion) and $150 a weeknight driving 5-6 hours after my normal job. The trick is to stop denying rides. Take any ride you get because time is money and rejecting too many rides gets you penalized.

In my experience, Uber has never played games with me. They might hide tips but they make the initial offer worth taking anyway. DoorDash on the other hand has you second guessing yourself every other order. I had a $6 add on last week with DoorDash for an extra 3 miles that I took that ended up being $19. WTF. Uber would’ve offered it to me for at least $10 which would’ve been worth it anyway.

That's a huge $21 dollar tip though. I rarely see tips like that in oklahoma. The average I get in tips is 3 to 5 dollars. Some has been more but rarely.

I've gotten many more delivery offers from Uber since getting diamond. Never once has Uber hid tips....a lot of my DD orders have hidden tips. In my area I'd say 50%+ of Uber orders add on to tip after delivery. DD is busier in my area but I make just as much off a few Uber orders due to increased tips....

not saying that diamond uber drivers make more, just saying in my area its incredibly easy to get to diamond. I have a 5% acceptance rate (which is actually high for my uber account) and im still a diamond member every month. But its true, there is absolutely no difference in the orders I get. Uber been killin it lately compared to DoorDash

The thing I find with diamond is that when there's a big order and they're doing a match to driver on the radar, I always win. Actually just as gold, I will beat out other drivers on big orders. When I dropped briefly, it would take longer to get accepted or I would lose good orders to other drivers who were better "matches". Once I was gold that stopped happening as often. As a diamond it doesn't happen at all. So it is more money for me.

In my market, nobody complains or talks about which level makes the most money. We’re all trying to unlock the other features to see the distance or filtering out a certain area to drive. That’s the only reason why I wanted to make it to Diamond! 😳😳😑😑

Nah this facts bc I use to get rides 10 and up and if it’s was 15-20 miles plus I was for sure seeing 30-40 maybe more. Now I get $4.68 rides all day and these ppl be having the nerve to have attitudes 😂😂😂😂😂
