Holy crap no lie the fact Scorchfountain was GENUINELY targeting Chamberpoint is insane!
Like its one thing to RP that into the lore and says thats the case by coincidence lol but wow your storytelling is genuinely cannon to the world you, its only a matter of time until "New Chamberpoint" gets on the radar too.
I like your idea of making an outpost under their nose, creating a small army doing guerilla warfare actions on their infrastructure and finally invading Scorchfountain that would be awesome to see.

I share the desire to recruit giantfolk. I mean, if they're sentient there should be no reason to treat them just like a forgotten beast that talks. Imagine having an elite squad of giants as part of a fortress or adventuring party, that would be pretty awesome.
