Wet the end and pinch the end between thumb and pointer finger to where you can't see it. Slowly roll your finger to reveal the end of the string and hold the needle near it. It is WAY easier to control the end of the string going into the eye of the needle. 😁

Learning and getting the right needle for the thread and work is more important than people think 😅

What i use, when i dont have the appropriate needle or thread, i do wet the tip, twist it a little, then out it between thumb and index longways, so it barely is noticable. Then the hole on it, and doing a small up/down motion on the needle.
It works 100% on the first try, 70% of the time

The part you get wet ok
Pinch the part of the thread you lick or such which stiffens it. pinch by your fingers and leave 1-2 inches. Short enough so it's kind of stiff but long enough to get the thread through. I was in a thing called cadets as a teen and had to sew my rank badges on by hand. This trick helps even though it's still annoying to thread a needle. I also learned how to iron clothes properly and polish boots in cadets. Life lessons learned that acctually was worth learning.

Pro tip: keep the thread on your palm and rub the needle's hole on it with a little pressure. Thank me later.

It actually takes only a couple od attempts.After you use your spit to lube the stribg up - just get it to the needle and ince it is stuck against it - back it out a bit and wriggle the string to the left and to the right, to get the tip inside, and then just slowly continue pushing it until it's in.

It sounds weird, but use a toothbrush! Lay the thread on the bristles and push the eye of the needle over the thread. The bristles push it right through! 😊
