Pundits at times do seem clueless on here. Leeds have been planning for the sale of both raphinha and Philips this summer and so far had a decent transfer window with a couple more body's still to come in.

Phillips hardly played last season, and Raphinia always was leaving this year..he had sights on Barca mid season. So Leeds have spent about 120 million this year to retool the squad and they look solid to me. They'll be very good defensively

I’m sorry but these guys are clueless. They see the surface details -“Leeds losing 2 star players” but don’t understand the wider context of why Leeds struggled last season and how that’s been corrected.

Leeds have money they bought most of those players before they sold Raph and KP these 2 clowns hate Leeds. There is more to come from Leeds they will survive. City are not playing by the rules they own the rules. He goes on about a 16 year old, Milner was the youngest 16 year old to score in prem who did he play for Leeds this 16 year old is Archie Gray and a lot of people are looking at him. How many 16 year olds have played in the first team and gone on to be world class quiet a lot I think

This is my main issue with Talk Sport punditry. Their focus is so much on the top 6 teams, they're clueless on the rest of the league. Guys, his is how teams in the lower half of the league survive, they sell their best players and reinvest the money on the squad. Aston Villa did it with Grealish, Leicester have done it for years. Our main problem last season was squad depth. We have now sold 2 players (one who was a no show last year) and with that money potentially bringing in 8. How could that be bad? Come on lads, do better.

Yes, 4 internationals from Denmark, America, Colombia. A high end youth player and a very rated Spaniard. Replacing a guy who missed most of last season spells trouble for Leeds. Especially when they are looking to buy a top striker and a spare left back ...troubling times. Especially when you look at their rivals ...teams like Everton have signed one centre half, wolves have bought one striker they already had and loaned out there most expensive player ...Fulham have brought in one Bournemouth one also...yes, tough times ahead.

I don't think leeds will go down this season, in fact I think they will surprise alot of people this used to happen a lot to Leicester and Southampton who used to sell they're best players and get a lot of money to reinvest and they would catch everyone by surprise

Way too early for this sorta chat especially after Leeds have spent a lot on very decent players.

You know what..now leeds actually have 5 players with champions league/Europa league experience they did not have that last..so there better and deeper now than last year they could place anywhere between 10th to 15th...

Yes we’ve let our two best players go but we’ve strengthened the squad massively bearing in mind Phillips has a shocking injury record. If we bring in a quality striker and LB and we’ll be fine. We couldn’t carry on with two really good players and then a load of dross or players out of position.

These pundits haven't a clue. KP and Raph were always on their way out raise funds for a a refit of the squad. Obviously a club in our position has to seek value and up-and-coming players for other leagues, that's just our position right now financial wise. The caller was spot on, I don't get why they're spluttering at him.

Philips was injured for a large part of the season and doesn't fit the present system so no great loss, Raphina was not even guaranteed a first team start, Leeds are stronger now.

I love it that pundits are worried for us. Gonna surprise some people this season 👍

You have to wonder how much, even as a player these guys know about football, as a Leeds fan of course it’s sad to see these two leave but KP was injured a lot of last season and although Raph at times was brilliant he was not consistent and the biggest problem last season was us missing PB up front and injuries and a bit of stubbornness from Marcelo although again he did so much for the club. We have brought in 6 players already and likely another striker and they all look more than decent to me, that alone will lift the other players and allow us to play players in their proper positions, now as always it won’t be easy but I can see us doing alright, we are in a way stronger position than last season.

Kalvin hardly played last year, and raph disappeared for a good 45% of the season, some good signings have come in, give us a LB and a ST and we will see what happens
