Tate is and was always the most important character of the show. He is the sole heir of the Dutton Legacy and has the blood of the first natives of the land. The prophecy will be fulfilled when Tate runs the Yellowstone.

That woman playing Beth is incredible. her character is strong enough to carry the series to the end and the next one as well.
Hopefully Taylor writes in a good antagonist to oppose her.

I am so f*cking sick of 30 minutes of these episodes focused on 6666. We now know that a Governor, and the main star of this series, was professionally assassinated, involving the Attorney General. There are 4 episodes left to complete a monumental assassination investigation, not to mention the Broken Rock reservoir issue. How the hell do these two monstrous issues get resolved in 4 episodes when half of each episode is dedicated to 6666? Taylor Sheridan has screwed the show, the cast, and the fans.

I am imagining Kasey backing out at the last minute, not killing Jamie. Then suddenly we have an Arya Stark moment and Carter comes flying out of nowhere to do the deed.

Carter and Tate could do a great job running the ranch. When Beth figures out how to monetize the ranch. Tate could be a fly fishing guide. Carter has learned how to cowboy. With the right help, these young men could ensure the ranch will continue. Hopefully with joint ownership with the Broken Rock tribe. and a complete rework to protect the land together.

I want Beth to tell Kayce what Jamie did to her and why she can’t trust him. That would be an episode worth watching. The writing for this second part of season 5 has been disappointing.

FAR too much time spent in TX. And the time jumps (everything in TX is pre John's death and everything in MT is post John's death) weren't woven into the episodes well at all. We have so few episodes and over half of the time of these first two have been wasted on commercials, setting up the 6666 spinoff, and following the time warps. Hopefully that will not continue to be the case. Best overall outcome would be to have a glimpse into the future with Tate and Carter on the Yellowstone. Kayce & Monica and Beth & Rip still involved as the elders. Partnership with the Broken Rock Reservation. I doubt we'll get something that positive out of it but we can hope, right?

I agree it was time wasting and confusing with all the... I don't even know if it was flashback or what. The beggining snake issue was good but then it just wanders off into confusion is my only words. It was a filler episode but why. We need to just get on with what we had been waiting two years for.

Not really interested in what they have shown of the 6666 ranch so far. Even seeing jimmy again was a let down. Texas does not have the same effect on me that Montana has. I love being in the Yellowstone. I think I would rather have seen John’s character being given to someone else(not sure who could fill this role) but I don’t think the show should end just because Kevin can’t be in it.

I think Jamie is a goner. No matter who, he didn’t protect the Dutton name he accumulated. Only to protect his own self. Once Rip finds out that Jamie had the main hand in his child’s death, not gonna be good.
