Absolutely astounding that you didn't spend 7 minutes talking about your channel, your hopes and dreams, glass strength, glass deflection, safety, hammer choice, hammer hardness, different safety flip flops to consider, clean up concerns, ear protection, advert for the latest game nobody cares about, etc.

If you watch and listen closely the glass didn't break due to getting hit rather it was the vibrations flexing multiple points eventually causing stress at the weak points, if this glass had a frame around it it would be significantly much more difficult to break

When i studied tempered glass at university I was fascinated. The glass was heated very much and then quickly cooled with jets of air. The internal core at the end of the procedure is longer than the external surfaces which become shorter. As a result, the glass above the outer surface spends its entire life compressing the glass of the inner core.This means that glass has three advantages 1) greater resistance to bending 2) when it breaks it is reduced into small, non-dangerous pieces 3) greater resistance to high temperatures. The logic is the same used in prestressed reinforced concrete. When it breaks it "explodes" because in a few seconds all the tensile and compressive stress energy induced when the glass was rapidly cooled is released
