I was maybe 20 when this movie came out. It changed my life. I had grown up with racist family members and I had myself judged all Asian people based on a bad experience I had with one woman I worked for as a teenager. I felt shame and remorse for things I had thought and things I had said. I changed my ways and stopped judging an entire race based on one person. I started standing up instead of laughing along when family would make racist remarks or jokes. I'm far from perfect, and still have a lot to learn, but this movie was life changing. Every high school student should have to watch this movie.

I liked that nice touch of *red* there at 1:45
If your more than a watcher to these types of movies and the history it holds, then you'll know what that *red* scene actually meant there.
If you have no idea what that *red* means, then that shows you only _watch_ movies. You don't _watch_ movies for the history. You only watch it for entertainment purposes.
This *red* scene was a perfect touch to see if _anybody is actually_ paying attention to History.

Now, if you need to google search and find out a little bit more information, well then, your not really going to truly enjoy this movie if you already knew the history of it.

For me it's the end when Oskar is breaking down and figures he could have gotten three more for the car and one for the pin. He could have gotten more. That's the part that gets me every time. Great movie.
