What a load of bollocks.Business is only interested in the bottom line.Filling the pockets of top management and shareholders while reducing benefits and rights of the people in the company, who generate the profits.

The Triple Bottom Line(TBL) is an accounting framework that incorporates three dimensions of performance: Social, Environmental and Financial or also the term 'The 3 P's', People, Planet and product; these concepts been around and taught for decades.

The triple bottom line was there before the pandemic as well. I think what is changing is the students and from my experience as a student, it might be due to changing reality from all the talk on climate change, social injustices having said that businesses will not survive if they don't have their main focus as profit maximization as businesses have to remain competitive.
