The only starter the 49ers lost were McGlinchy and Gould. They replaced the kicker with Jake Moody, and McGlinchy was considered a weakness by most 49ers fans. The best defense in the league just got better.

I think the question "What do the Chiefs do if Kelce gets injured?" is relatively easy to answer: they ride that elite offensive line that they are paying a shitload of money to and Pacheco in between the redzones, ask Mahomes to "game manage" with the WRs he does have and Reid putting to use all the fancy redzone plays he has stored in the vault. This of course assuming none of the receivers they have takes a step forward which is kind of unlikely.

45:30 AFC is so stacked at least one of the top 10 rosters is guaranteed to miss the playoffs. There’s 7 AFC teams in the top 10 and none are from AFC South which gets one to itself obviously, so there’s 6 spots left for Chiefs, Bengals, Bills, Jets, Ravens, Chargers, Dolphins one of them has to miss out

Bet: I have my Chicago Bears finishing around 9 and 8 for 2023. Assuming an Edge rusher gets signed (either Clowney or Houston), I see this defense as vastly improved. You've got Edmunds and Edwards roving the middle of that defense, potentially putting the Bears at top5 at LB. The O-line no longer has a black hole at center with Whitehair shifting over. In fact, the entire O-line looks like it can both maul in the run game and also pass block. Top14 unit? The addition of a true #1 wideout in DJ Moore and surprising value pick in Tyler Scott makes this a legit WR core. I'm not suggesting these Bears are legit Superbowl contenders, but with an easy schedule, why can't 9w 8L be achieved?

You've got them ranked 22nd. I'm calling BS.
