Reading it now, it is so so so so so so Also just looked up 'Dark Academia' and realized I love that genre (never looked up its definition before). Finally THANK YOU for pronouncing the author's name ("FAIR-EE-DA EEE-BEEE-KAY EYE-YA-MEE-DAY!") oh my gosh I have tried so hard to get it right and have been saying "Far-Ree-Dah Ah-Bee-Kay EE-YEE-MEE-DAY") Thank you! Hailey, I recently read the midnight library and OMG I loved the majority of it. It was just the relationship that Nora has with Dan that I hated. It's such a pet peeve of mine when a male character makes the female character do all the work and puts in no effort. However the main plot I loved. I enjoyed the idea of self-discovery with the library.

I've seen "I must betray you" everywhere recently, and it's both heartwarming and heart-wrenching, because it's about my country. I know about the communist period in great detail because my parents have gone through it, and I know how difficult of a time it was. But at the same time, I'm surprised that people all over the world are intrigued by our history. We're not a communist country anymore, but my family has gone through it and it wasn't pretty. Although, I'm really looking forward to reading this book, since I already know so many details about that era.

Ruta Sepetys is one of my favorite authors - and I also saved Out of the Easy until right before I Must Betray You came out. It's so amazing. I cried more than once, and her take on American historical fiction is something that really blew me away. I was so surprised to love something that wasn't war or revolution-based.

I've read ''You've Reached Sam'' and ''Ace of Spades'' - I absolutely loved these books!
Thriller's are not my first choice when it comes to reading but I kind of want to try reading more...
Well, my TBR list is looking at me like this: more books.. even thrillers now? you have hundreds of romancey or fantasy books to read what is wrong with you girl :D :D

I read TML when it came out since I follow Matt on instagram so I knew about it pretty early. I thought it was good (like all his works), and I agree with you! It felt like a self-help book but not in a "shove down your throat" way.

I want to read LNATTC! I just haven't gotten around to picking it up yet...
