Debate over medically-assisted death

The federal government is asking Canadians to weigh in on who should be eligible for medical assistance in dying.

My partner has been waiting 2 years to access a medically assisted death, fulfilling the entirety of the criteria with the exception of not having a "reasonably foreseeable death". What they call a "balanced" law has shown to be of great unbalance. My partner suffers 24 hours a day and has been advocating for her Charter rights. We are now told to wait on the government to enact the change that the Courts stipulated. The survey includes a number of "safeguards" that are worrisome. No one should come between a Canadian's autonomy and making their own decision on medical assistance in dying. No doctor, no politician.

I have no privacy my soul is being auctioned to whomever whenever and no other option for a dignified quality life seems possible. And I’m tired of fighting

My opinion.
I didnt choose this life to begin.

My parents worked hard just to make me acheive happiness in life. They invested their live's earning and emotions.

I am in a big debt of those emotion.

I cant chose to give up my life until i pay those emotion back or until i become physically, mentally unable to pay those emotions back.

I wish my parents live long enough, and experience all those feelings that a human life deserve.

The day I am that debt free and feel nothing left to acomplish more with my capabilty, I should have that right to chose to end my life in a peaceful way.

but then again most people don't believe in God or heaven so they just want to take their own bodies and whatever like let them die like get rid of everybody wants to die there's too many people anyway

So this is the death panel.
I saw in the hospital waiting room, there is a tv there playing a commercial for assisted death.
Hospitals advertising for their patients to die. That's just gruesome.

As long as they know that when they get to the Gates of heaven they won't be included inbut that's your choice God gave you Free Will so take your own life people but for those who are in heaven you won't see them not after this life

and I still say that these people have no reason but to let God take them at their own time and since they take their own lives they can be sure that they will not see the Gates of heaven
