I met the Princess Royal whilst at an archeological excavation on the Duke of Westminster's estate. She was walking her dogs and didn't realise we were there. She was lovely, genuinely pleased to find out we were excavating and asked lots of questions. She recalled all of our names, spoke to me about working in archaeology when I have mobility issues and asked the then 6th Duke why he hadn't mentioned it as she 'loves stuff like this'. I will always respect her for that, and she has an amazing sense of humour.

Princess Anne was incredibly hard working. She just "got on with it" and did her duty. I can't imagine a better holder of the title than Anne. She works all day, every day. Just does whatever needs to be done. None of us can imagine what hardship and pressures of their lives.
