When he explained that the entrepreneur who sought to make the EB110 went bankrupt, paying his employees to the very last day, it gave me this strange warm feeling. He was an ethical man. It's admirable.

I love when Jay tells his Viper horsepower story, over and over. An uncle we all love.

I wonder if Jay has ever considered dying his hair denim. I would like to see that level of commitment to outfit coordination. The result would be nothing short of extraordinary.

I used to love driving my red Bugatti EB110 every day from the bedroom to the kitchen and back, on my chopstick track! Good old days! Sold it few years ago, and I miss it so much!

I remember when I was in tech school, picking up a car mag and reading the article about this car. It was the first car I'd ever heard of with 5 valves per cylinder. And one of the other things they don't mention in this video is, it has no carpet. The floor covering is quilted leather.

You can hear all the stories from original engineer and designer of making this car and motor and gearbox on Davide Cironi's channel. He interviews them in italian but the subtitles are perfect and you wont miss anything because all the passion and emotion is there to be witnessed of these amazing engineers and designers.

550 hp back in the 90’s and really that is still very powerful 25 years later.

That Bugatti blue is one of the best blues I've ever seen.

It just struck me, I'm so glad none of Jay's videos have an annoying, different music track every 20 seconds. So much stuff on TV has that stupid annoying music to it.

That's one of the most beautiful cars I've ever seen. I was on the fence at first but quickly realized how absolutely timeless the design is. This was one of the most interesting episodes of Jay's Garage I've ever seen. Thanks for sharing.

The problem with the EB110 was that it was a acquired taste. Back in the early 90's everyone thought that car was hideous, but now everyone sees it as beautiful. Style had to catch up to it not the other way around. The designer was a master.
Gives me a little respect for Schumacher. He seen how good it was from the beginning.

The EB110 and the XJ220 are absolute legends, there's something so different about them that sets them apart from their rivals.

The car's owner is so likeable. You can tell he's a huge Bugatti nerd (and automotive enthusiast) and probably could talk about all kinds of arcane Bugatti details from memory, but he manages to stay restrained. And he's very comfortable talking to Jay. Plus, something Jay hasn't driven ever before--that's pretty rare. Great video!
