I haven't purchased a ultra wide angle lens yet because none of them has really satisfied me. This lens just sold me and checks every mark that I needed. Filter thread, Autofocus, f 2.8, less than 16mm. Perfect! Thank you Laowa for making this!

I've got the Laowa 7.5mm 2.0 for my micro four thirds cameras and it's my favorite wide angle lens, really thinking of getting this for my Sony A7RV. Love Laowa lenses!

I have a Voigtlander 10mm which is also rectilinear. I did use it for interior photos when I listed my house. It makes some very cool photos, and I highly recommend taking a look at it.

Thanks for this review. Seems like an amazing lens, fun to use sparingly. I use the sigma 14-24 for real estate and its just right for me to have 14 and zoom in a bit when I can. 10mm would be extreme for sure but useful for bathrooms and staircases. I used to use my 17mm tilt shift to stitch panoramas for this kind of width. I seem to be the only person who would love this for square photos. Would be amazing for that. I think it would feel like a 14 or 15mm vertically, and horizontally, but with the possibility of shifting the square in post to correct perspective.

This may be the last lens I buy for my Sony A7iv, and maybe the last lens I buy period. I preordered and already have the 77mm ND filters I tend to rely on. This will also be my 2nd Laowa (the other is a macro). This fills out my lens lineup and at the tender age of 81, I doubt I'll need anything else (unless my lotto numbers come up). Thanks Chris for the review. I letting other photo club members learn about this (currently) unique lens.

I thought I was done with ultrawide lens. But this has piqued my interest. The form factor is what stands out to me. I have a samyang 14mm and I hardly use it nowadays as it's bulky and huge to bring around for something that has limited use. This however has better potential despite an even wider fov. Being able to take filters is a plus as well.

Chris let me ask you something just, are you using this lens for Real Estate or you can still using your 16 because I am using a 14 and I'm really satisfied
