Type one diabetes is an autoimmune disease, it has nothing to do with diet. That would be type 2 diabetes which does have to do with how you eat. There is no cure for type one yet. My granddaughter was diagnosed at age 5, she is now 10 and it has been a struggle but she is very strong. Hang in there Miles, it will get better and hopefully a cure.

Type 1 Diabetes sucks! My brother had it, and my nephew nearly passed away before the doctors were able to figure out what was wrong with him. His parents are on it, especially my sister. She became a mama bear on steroids when he was diagnosed and he is now doing well. Since Miles has parents like my bro-in-law, and my sister I’m sure he will be do amazing as well. Diabetes is terrible for a child! I’ve had Type 2 for years I could never imagine having it as a child. 😟

Miles just need a good healthy diet! If he eats well and watch the sugar! It can get better! Buy books on the diagnosis study it and it will give you good ingredients!
