I already said to my Nephew who plays D2. He's 6'6 told him 1 3pointer & 3 layups (Fastbreak, putback) each quarter you'd have 36pts.... It's tough but players overthink the game by doing too much.

me and my older sister tell my little brother this all the time. she’s a D2 hooper and an English major so it’s easier for me to use her words. she said: “if you get 5 points a quarter every game you’ll average 20 points per. try and fit a steal or block in there when you’re not scoring, and pass the ball when you know you’re not getting a great look. now you simultaneously satisfy your own needs AND help the team.”
