The Proxy in premium plastic is by far my favorite throwing putter. It is the average of every good quality you need in a thrower and I have never thrown another disc that locks into a release angle better than a the Proxy. My only complaint with the disc is the listed -1 turn, which you won't find with the disc until you break it in for a while. It makes people who haven't thrown them tend to think they are a flippy brother to the Envy when really they are just Envy's without the aggressive fade. It is, as you said a few times, purely neutral which makes it so versatile and useful.

Secondly, I wanna let everyone know that a plasma proxy will beat in nicely to a perfect -2, .5 and it will hold it there seemingly forever. Mine’s been there for about 2 years.

It pairs nicely with a beat in neutron envy that will get to a -1, 1 and a prism plasma envy that even after a full season flies like it did off the shelf which is a bit more OS than other envy’s, mine’s at a 0, 2.5 still.

I run a Gyropalooza glow proxy and I can stretch it out. There's a course near my house with only 2 holes over 400 and i can usually birdy the bulk. It's great to toss

The poxies come in some great flavours..
I have a Plasma Axiom in darkish blue metallic (almost a hologram sheen) with a pink over-mold... My throwing putter (I did get blinded by it a couple of times in my 1st PDGA event)...
a Cosmic Soft (my Puttin Poxie)
a DFx Axiom Eclipse 2.0 Proxy - Marm O Set (My night game go-to)
a DFx Axiom Eclipse 2.0 Proxy - Froggeaux (I guess a backup for the night game)
and a DFx (Fission?) Skullboy (a backup for something.. too cheap to let pass... (I got all these from a friend I call my 'Disc Bank'.

I'm a late bloomer, started playing at 50+ from '22 with a background of casual frisbee throwing, revisited at work lunchtimes circa '98-2000
I natrually throw flat, so a slightly under-stable putter holds that flat run just that little bit longer... and on a local 300ft downhill (drops about 50') it pushes slightly right, so any error tends to bring it back on target for usually a 10ft putt either side

I'm glad Simon is throwing the proxy over the envy. The envy is probably the farthest flying putter but the proxy is more versatile.

Are you consciously raising your right arm after your throw? It doesn't look like it's part of your momentum slowing down but I can't tell exactly
