Everytime someone asks me who's the best guitarist out there p4p, string by string, fret to fret, it's always this man Guthrie Govan. Then they ask me why, i show them this. Everyone can shred that's given but to be this articulate and creative and humorous all at once and gives alot of wisdom when teaching is one of a kind.

The Best, Superb Be-Bop, loved the double stop country section, then I knew what he was up to, then Blues, awesome Metal Legato, big smile, joy to watch, not arrogant or look at me, though he knows he is the man, and finished up with Wes Montgomery octave thing, like rounding third base, after hitting a Home Run. Which he always does. Wish he would make more instruction videos, I could only scratch the surface.

Met Guthrie a couple of times at the Army & Navy as it was then in Chelmsford . He was just chilling watching a few bands.. What a smashing bloke he was too. But Christ just when you think you've heard all of his skills another YouTube vid pops up. Stunning stunning player the most rounded on the planet... A pleasure to listen too.
