Thanks for this video. Little had I found on this blend of styles and this was fantastic guidance. My husband has many beautiful antique furniture pieces from his family that are dear to his heart. I lean towards a more sleek aesthetic and we live in a rustic cabin-like home with rough ceiling beams and all. It has been quite an adventure to blend the styles but gradually I had been finding what works. You provided some ideas and confirmed that some of my instincts were right. For example the mixing of rustic earthenware with sleek glass pieces, abundant use of linen and raw silk, using flowers and plants, fur like materias and mixed metals...it all brings it together. Love it!

This is such a beautiful style Suzie! I LOVE a really simple, rustic wood console or table (for me, raw waxed wood ☺️) with an ornate antique giltwood mirror or beautiful giltwood accessory accompanying it. Such a stunning combination, and one of my favorite design looks for my own home. And lots of nubby, cozy pillows and textiles, light colors. ☺️☺️. This was another lovely lesson! Thank you!!
