Sintering 52100 powdered steel. PM metallurgy is way stronger and harder than normal ingot or ESR steel. Much better quality finer carbide distribution and more homogenous. Good stuff PM metals.

Kind of cool how they match produce all this stuff like sprockets and gears instead of with solid chunks and metal and carving them down it's just a bunch of metal powder compressed and then heat it kind of cool.

What level of shrinkage if any is to be exspected and is the shrinkage even or complex with different geometry
