So many people referring to this whole area as Deer Park but “Pecan Plantation” mobile home park is in La Porte, Spencer Highway separates the two cities right along this stretch. I grew up there when these pipelines were being constructed and many people were uneasy about them being so close to residential.

Just able to roll up on it, with no real barriers. Expensive lesson and one that should have been covered so it couldn't happen. I hope you make the residents whole without a fight.

Gas runs through pipes. There are valves along the pipelines. Turn off the valves, fires stops.

Elderly person probably thought the gas was the brake pedal. Videos iv seen of elderly driving accidents into buildings usually say, I thought I was hitting the brake. Maybe it was a medical emergency.
