The story began when an aspiring sorcerer, played by Warwick Davis, is whisked away on a journey to protect an infant empress Elora Danan and vanquish the evil Queen Bavmorda from their world of Andowyne. Now, the story continues with Davis reprising his titular role, as he leads an unlikely crew of heroes on a quest to protect Andowyne from an even larger foe than they had imagined possible. “Willow” also stars Ellie Bamber, Ruby Cruz, Erin Kellyman, Tony Revolori, Amar Chadha-Patel, Dempsey Bryk, and Joanne Whalley. Kathleen Kennedy, Michelle Rejwan, Jonathan Kasdan, Tommy Harper, Wendy Mericle, Roopesh Parekh, Ron Howard, and Samie Kim Falvey serve as executive producers. Writers are John Bickerstaff, Hannah Friedman, and Jonathan Kasdan. The producers are Stephen Woolfenden, Julia Cooperman, Hameed Shaukat, and Max Taylor.

Really liking the series as a whole so far. Been a willow fan for a long long time, and the humour of the original movie is definitely there. The sets are very well done, and the action has been pretty good too. Looking forward to more!

I have zero nostaligia for the movie. Only saw it last year and I'm a child of the 80s. But I had a blast with these first two episodes.

'The Outpost', a CW fantasy series, is far better written and more enjoyable.

The world looks spectacular! Cinematography is wonderful!
I just can't help but feel that the new characters feel like "insertions of people from our reality" and not characters that have naturally grown and been influenced by their surroundings. Very poor writing, so far. I hope the performances and characters rise to compliment the amazing work of the people constructing the magic here.

the series is called Willow. we want to see Willow and never shows up. 🤦‍♂️ what seems like a few minutes to show us characters that we don't care about. once again the outdated agenda of the caves ruining everything we love. when will they realize that we live in the 21st century... now the outdated political agenda has ruined Willow 😞

Dad and I like this show but it's lame that they copied off other shows and forced same gender loving. We don't need that propa in a tv show.
