Before You Terre D'Hermes Eau De Toilette (In Depth Review With Womens Reactions)

Hermes is a notable brand in luxury well known for their garments and leather goods such the Birkin Bag. Terre D'Hermes is one of their most popular fragrance lines and regarded as a classic in the community. To me it's a "Niche" designer fragrance, and by niche I mean for a specific target market and not for the masses. It's a divisive smell that not everyone will enjoy but for those who enjoy it, they will love it. It's a unique scent profile, it does not smell like a shower or fougere, they do something different but yet fresh and clean at the same time. Bright photo realistic orange opening with a soapy clean vetiver dry down, that some seem to love and appreciate. We discuss many things in this review including the scent profile, versatility, performance, and of course we took it to the street to see what women think of this fragrance. I love this and always have a bottle. Older women and men tend to be the ones who compliment it. I however buy it because I love the scent of cedar and oranges and find something comforting in it. With it being earthy I like to wear it on a rainy day.

You are very spot on when you call this fragrance divisive - that it is not a fragrance for everyone. Certain channels hype it to death. And my Gf hates it. ("Smells like old, rotten forest" ). You are very good at what you are doing👍

I had tested it years ago and I loved it. I didn't have a job then and well, Hermes didn't offer much of a discount. So when I got a job I bought it. I got no complain had some compliments too but nothing crazy. It's not as loved other other fragrances I use at the office, I remember the lady working next to me complimented by other fragrances but when I wore Terre EDT she was silent. She never said she disliked it but, you get it. Also my mother kinda dislikes it. Of course she generally dislikes fragrances, doesn't wear herself, but she liked Profondo, Y EDP and Le Male Le Parfum. These are crowd pleasers, Terre is a nice office fragrance but not something everyone will like. I still wear it quite a lot, hah.I has a good performance without being beast mode.

I had this one for a while, I remember wearing this in the summer heat and I had many compliments. It smells fancy and sticks in the air, kinda like a cigarette smell. At the moment I am using the Parfum version of it. it's more refined and the vetiver is toned down.

I like how open the 2 ladies around the 4 min mark were open to the fragrance skin chemistry and the dry down. They were very intelligent and gave good opinions to this classic fragrance.

For me, Terre D' Hermes EDT was completely the opposite-- when I first tried it, it blew me away. It was the greatest fragrance I had ever tried. But when I bought a bottle, I became more and more revolted by its scent over time, especially after the dry-down. It had a strong, off-putting pine smell that almost made me nauseous.
