Daredevil/Elektra: Love and War Gallery Edition

This gallery edition collects two Daredevil stories from the 80s by legendary comic book creators Frank Miller and Bill Sienkiewicz. The first is Daredevil Love and War and the second is Elektra Assassin. Love and War is really a story about Kingpin and his love for his ailing wife Vanessa. Elektra Assassin is hard to describe as it was a very experimental tale about the early years of Elektra by Frank Miller, it reads like a fever dream with its stream of consciousness style of storytelling. This gallery edition showcases Bill Sienkiewicz's fabulous artwork. Also has a ton of extras including covers, sketches and original art by Bill Sienkiewicz.

My LCS has this in stock. I've never read anything by Sienkiewicz and have been wanting to. Every week I went into the shop over the past few weeks, I would check to see if it was still there. I was really, really close to getting it. It just looks so pretty! 😁 I finally decided to just grab the trade for Elektra Assassin since I never have read it and thus could quite possibly end up not liking it. Plus, the trade was half the price. I'm not very far into it yet but it really is beautiful. Weird too. I like it!

I'm really surprised that it's not priced much, much higher. Seems like a steal to me if you can find it.

I hav a question - i hav just started to collect comics nd starting with scot snyders new 52 batman runs

So is it necessary to collect detective comics, batman & robin & incorporated side by side or just go with vol 1 to 10??
